Ceejay settled on the name Milk Glass because of its reminiscent feeling of the bygone era of workers connected with their craft, community interconnectedness, and durable, lasting goods. In researching, I found a myriad of shapes and styles of milk bottles and their various paraphernalia like milk keys, paper and wax caps, and local dairy farm branding.

Getting a sense of the style...
Peculiarity drives participation 
Ultimately, we felt that the basis for the icon needed to be straightforward: a milk glass. However, an icon that's too simple denies the viewer the motivation to take a second look. We were looking for something that would set it apart and inspire additional consideration. Adding an unnecessary handle gave that extra little bit of interest and curiosity.  
The final mark incorporates practical design elements from years past while creating an updated and modern feel that invites customers to connect, engage, and create.
Ceejay is getting closer and closer to full operation.
